SPEAKER: Rev. Sandy Shipley is a counselor, teacher, speaker, and ordained Religious Science minister (Centers for Spiritual Living). She has served congregations in Oregon and Hawaii where she was introduced to Polynesian and Asian spiritualities. Sandy has earned a Marylhurst degree integrating psychology and spirituality. She describes her current ministry as “educational, rather than congregational.”
MUSIC: Darcy Schmitt sings everything from classical to jazz, gospel to pop, and more. In addition to singing in local churches and clubs, she is a vocal teacher in the Battle Ground School District, leading many award-winning groups. Brent Gjevre, with his brilliant accompaniment, adds to the beauty of the music they share. With Brent on keyboard, Darcy has blessed ALC with her beautiful voice and her gracious presence many times.
