Service Projects

Giving is its own reward…

The organizations below are charities that ALC currently contributes to… enthusiastically and with LOVE!

Danielle's PantryDanielle’s Pantry

This ALC ministry collects canned and non-perishable foods as well as monetary contributions to help those less fortunate in our community.

We take food donations to Clark County Food Bank. Arlene Rose transports the food weekly.

If you are in need, here is a list of agencies and programs that partner with the Clark County Food Bank.

Habitat for Humanity logoHabitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity believes that every man, woman and child should have a decent, safe and affordable place to live. We build and repair houses all over the world using volunteer labor and donations. Our partner families purchase these houses through no-profit, no-interest mortgage loans or innovative financing methods. Decent, stable housing provides more than just a roof over someone’s head. In addition, it offers:

  • Stability for families and children
  • A sense of dignity and pride
  • Health, physical safety and security
  • An increase in educational and job prospects

ALC sends a monthly donation of $15 to Habitat for Humanity.

Marlon Anderson Cisneros NavarroChildren International

Founded in 1936, Children International promotes the health, well-being, and development of children in eleven countries around the world. By focusing on improving the health and education of poor children, this organization equips them with tools they need to become successful adults.

Abundant Life Center is pleased to be able to send a monthly contribution of $25 (and lots of love!) to this trusted organization in support of 7-year-old Marlon Anderson Cisneros Navarro, who lives in Ecuador. Marlon’s language is Spanish, and he likes listening to music and dancing.

Heifer ProjectHeifer Project

Participants in Heifer Project, including Heifer staff, partner organizations and the communities being helped, must work together to achieve common goals. Heifer provides livestock, supplies, expertise and support, while project participants reciprocate with hard work and a pledge to pass on what they learn and receive. Every quarter, ALC raises money to help purchase one animal.
