The Board of Trustees (BOT) conducts the business affairs of Abundant Life Center. Its role is to develop goals, objectives and strategies, policies, and procedures that express and sustain the purpose and mission of ALC.

Bob Rubey is fairly new to New Thought and has a heart of gold and a spirit for service. He is currently Chairperson of the Board of Trustees.

 

Judy Cookson, Treasurer

Judy Cookson, Treasurer

Judy Cookson moved to Vancouver from the San Francisco Bay area in 2006 after retiring from an extensive accounting career. She currently serves as Treasurer of the Board of Trustees. Judy has long been fascinated by learning different religions and exploring the differences and similarities they have. She resonates with New Thought and how it encompasses core teachings from many religions. She’s been a part of the Abundant Life Center community since 2010, is a Greeter, and partakes in a variety of volunteer projects.

 

Ananda Starfield

Ananda Starfield

Ananda Starfield has been a member of New Thought churches since discovering Seattle Unity in 1979, and he joined ALC in 1996. In addition to serving on the Board of Trustees, he leads the Sound Team during Sunday services. He and his wife Linda were married in Unity of Houston in 1992 and discovered a shared love of bird watching.

 

 

Russ Nelson

Russ Nelson

Russ Nelson has been involved with ALC for years. He volunteers in many ways, including adding his rich tenor to the ALC song leaders, and helps out wherever needed. A long time strong supporter of the Food Front Cooperative Grocery, he served on their board for many years.
